The Department of Pediatrics at Saideep Hospital provides complete health solutions for children of all ages. The department has well experienced pediatric care intensivists and skilled general pediatricians, state-of-the-art equipment and Pediatric Intensive Care Units (PICU) with facilities for ventilation. The PICUs and tertiary level Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) are managed by intensivists and neonatologists, who treat and manage a wide range of childhood problems. In addition to encompassing several other superspecialties, the department also has a team of highly qualified doctors and paramedics in the field of Rehabilitation and Developmental Pediatrics and Clinical Psychologists The faculty consists of both residents and senior consultants committed to the welfare of children in all aspects, delivering care with compassion to children. Neonatology deals with the specialized care of pre-term babies and full-term babies with complications. The Department of Pediatrics at Saideep Hospital has one of the best Neonatal ICUs of international standards, equipped with conventional equipments like ABG analyzer, incubators, monitors for BP and oxygen levels. The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit also has the most sophisticated equipment, such as artificial life support system, cardiorespiratory monitors and apnea monitors, required to treat and conduct advanced procedures, including administering surfactant therapy on newly born babies and infants.
